This workstation uses a Sinar 86H camera back and digital CMV lenses. It is used for newspapers, oversize items, delicate materials, and miscellaneous documents.

Contex HD5450 Wide Format CCD scanner (1)

Used for maps, posters, and other oversize items.

Magnetic wall (1)

Our magnetic wall has a coat of paint containing ferrous metals, making it ideal for oversize items that do not easily fit on our other scanning equipment. Items are held in place by flat magnets along the edge, and images captured with our Canon EOS 5D MKII DSLR cameras.

ATIZ Bookdrive Pro Cradle Scanners (4)

The scanners use Canon EOS 5D MKIII bodies and 50mm, 100mm and 24-70mm lenses for image capture. The cradle scanners are used for bound books and magazines, as well as for anything up to standard newspaper size. These are ideal for fragile, bound items as they hold the materials open without placing stress on the spine.

nextScan FlexScan microform scanner (1)

Used for scanning microfiche and 35mm and 16mm microfilm reels. The scanner uses a 60mm lens and a Dalsa 8192 scan line camera.

Canon EOS 5D MKII DSLR body with 24-70 Lens (1)

Used for photography and 3-dimensional objects.
